First some good news here at the Isle of Hope Marina. A couple of days ago Chris, a supervisor at the marina, announced that his wife had a given birth to a baby girl. Yesterday Brook came in proudly holding her in her arms. This is the third child for the couple.
Pam from Drift Away came back from a shopping trip to let us know that she was going to cook some kielbasa on the grill for dinner. Of course what is kielbasa without sauerkraut and bread and wine? So off to the store Bill and I went. We just went to 'The Pig" as it is called here. Piggly Wiggly for those up north is a grocery store. As always it is a nice ride.
Then on to the C-Dock mini pot luck sorta party. Yes it is Happy Afternoon!
I really, really liked this bread.
Most of the transients that came to our Easter Dinner have left. The migration north still does attract more though. Here are a couple that were passing through on their Tartan sailboat. Nice for them to relax with us for good conversation and a bite to eat. We have become the welcoming committee.
6 more days and counting.
Bill and Patti :-)
