It was late the night before when we crawled into the berth to sleep. There was no TV. The marina had been working on the dish all day. But that's fine with us. We didn't even have a TV on our previous boat. We enjoyed our wine, talked and listened to Bill's iPod shuffle. It was after 10:00 when we crawled out into the salon. This was extremely late for us. Bill had opened the companion way top and was talking to Gene. Billed turned to me and said they move Panache. I looked out of the window and Panache was there, just turned around. damnificare was also turned around. I heard Pam's voice so I went part way out. She was on the swim platform of Drift Away and they were literally Drifting Away!!! Way over to D-Dock!! I waived good bye. Then I jumped out and told Rick I don't like change. They need to move us to the face dock near them. They seem so far away now.
Oh well. Next they moved Miss Muffet into the spot vacated by Drift Away. Nice boat but no one is aboard. The TV still is not fixed but they have a new task. Trying to get power to Miss Muffet. Of course Rick was supervising and Bill had to lend some knowledge. Gene stayed on his boat but was also lending his knowledge. No sure if Chris was listening, but he did get it working.
I did see Jeremy on the docks for a while. being the female that I am I did let him know that he should NOT be here. He should have a sling on his arm and be home, taking aspirin and plain old recuperating. The diver also did return today to replace our zinc. Simply speaking you can get galvanized corrosion when 2 metal meet and are in seawater for a while. A third metal, being the zinc, can help stop this, especially when at dock for a while.
3 more days.
Patti and Bill :-)
