Hoppy Easter Dinner

Easter is not a big celebration for Bill and I.  The day for us began as usual.  There are many transients now traveling north that are stopping here for a day or two.  Most to relax a bit, do some laundry, get some groceries and may get some needed parts at West Marine.  Since we are having an Easter Dinner in the Pavilion all of the transients were invited.  This dinner actually started  when Gene suggested we do something.  He saw the Honey Baked Ham Store not far from here.  Great idea Gene, no one will have to cook.  We figured about 7 or 8 of us.  Somehow this blossomed into about 40 or 50. Pat from Ironhore  and Pam from Drift Away the took the reins from Gene and ran with it.  Both are great party planners.  Thanks Pam and Pat!!!  At about 3:30 people started to arrive.  The tables were decorated.
People were chatting.  Some came by car.

Some walked to the pavilion.
Some boaters were transients, like Daryl and Lisa.

And some are here for a while.

The food was set up in a nice buffet style.  There's Pam and Pat just double checking everything.
Even though it was BYOB a small bar was set up so the ice could be used.  Great idea.
Bill gave the reading before it was time to eat.
Time to eat everyone.  Of course we all had our fill.  Then out came dessert.

Hope every ones Easter Dinner was as good as ours!
